Loving the Holiday Catalogue

I was so so excited when I received the Holiday catalogue last month. I flipped through the pages and thought 'I want it all'. Well I went a little crazy and purchased quite a bit of what is available. There are so many fun things in there and I love anything Christmas. I cant wait to show you some of the fantastic creations that you will see featured in the catalogue as well as some of my own designs. So follow me to see lots of upcoming examples.
Need one of these fantastic catalogues then Contact me to request one.

Check out this card that I have created using non traditional christmas colours with the Bright and Beautiful stampset. I am loving the cool blue green colours for Christmas. I made this card into a shaker card because I wanted to incorporate the cute and shiny Frosted Sequins. I also loved creating the negative space using the matching star framelits. How beautiful is this star stamp?!
I really like adding bling to Christmas cards as well and you couldn't get more blingy than this. You should see it in the sun.
Thanks for dropping by,

Cherie

Missing in Action

Well it has definitely been a long time since I have blogged. And failed miserably at keeping my New Year's Resolution of making sure that I keep my blog up to date. Well this is take 2 of my new year's resolution. Never to late to start, huh?
I have been in fact very busy crafting and have had many fun classes over the past 8 months. My stamp clubs are going great and I am loving all the cards and texhniques that we have looked at. The most exciting part of a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator has arrived in the pass two months with the launch of the new annual catalogue and the new Holiday Catalogue ( See next post for more information ). Our new Stampin' Up catalogue went live 1 July, 2014 and will be with us until the 30th June 2015. There are some of our favourites from last year as well as many new products to try. One product to make note of are the Photopolymer Stamps that are clear and very easy to use. We also saw the launch of the 2014-2016 in-colours which are fantastic. I have definitely found my new favourite colour-Blackberry Bliss. Keep following to see some of my creations and samples of these wonderful colours.Take a look of the new colours below. They are so bold and rich in colour and I love them!
If you haven't got a hold of the annual catalogue as yet feel free to Contact me and order one today!

Poker Fever

Well I discovered a new talent at a friend's 30th birthday! The theme was Roaring 20's. It was a hoot. Dressing up in costume and trying my hand at poker all added to the fun. And the best thing was winning the overall poker challenge, which I recieved a trophy. Must of been beginner's luck as I had never played before. Well keeping with the theme of the night I designed this poker card. It was great to do something completely different  to my normal style of card.

Happy Hanukkah

Hanukkah commences on the 27th November this year and I was asked to create a card for a friend. I gladly accepted. I loved how the colours of the Winter Frost Designer Paper Stack go with the silver embossing and marina mist cardstock.
What a fabulous idea that Stampin' Up came up with. Card front sized Designer Paper. The best part is there are two paper stacks and you get 48 pages of it. One in gorgeous blue hues and in the other in more traditional xmas colours. They both can be found in the current seasonal catalogue. There are many terrific products in the seasonal catalogue. Make sure you click on the link and check them out. Hope you like my card!

Loving the 2013-2014 In-Colours

There are just so many things that I love about Stampin' Up but the one that I want to talk about today is the wonderful way that all the products co-ordinate. Not only do you have the range of products in the same colour you have family groups of colours that co-ordinate so well with each other. This card that I am going to show you demonstrates this in the new In-Colours in the current catalogue. This card has been cased from a U.S. demonstrator who received it in a card swap so the original creator is not known. I really love the use of many embossing folders as well as the fabulous use of one of the most versatile stamp set Papillion Potpurri.

Halloween

Well Halloween has come and gone for another year. Quite uneventful really. Here in Australia it is hit and miss who celebrates Halloween. I got excited as there are alot of children in my street. Bought lollies ready for the onslaught of excited children and would you believe it not one single door knock! Anyway in the spirit of things I created a halloween card for a friend who I know loves all things black, creepy and spooky. She also loves cats. So quite a fitting card I hope. I really love the colour combo.

Wow a lot has happened in 3 months!

Well again it has taken me 3 months to get back to my blog. It has been an eventful 3 months though. I celebrated my daughter's 2nd birthday, worked full time, went on holidays and experienced what it was like to live in an area that was threatened by one of the bushfires that NSW has endured over the past 3 weeks. Just want to share with you a beautiful photo that my husband took 2 weeks on after the fires.
